Scrubs 'n' Scalpels is Surgical Society's very own Volunteering scheme. As well as running numerous events in local schools, we are also heavily involved in volunteering for events run at the Royal College of Surgeons.
So if you feel like starting (and continuing) the year with good deeds, then make sure you check back here for events that we need your help with.

The 2012 conference sees the introduction of the 8 other surgical specialties of the Royal College of Surgeons, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology - with opportunities to hear from leaders in those fields.
The NUGSC 2012 website and ticket sales will be launched on 15th December 2011.
We are now inviting abstracts for our research competition at http://research.nugsc.com. The deadline for submissions is 21st December 2011.
